Developing a Project Idea

Design is crucial for identifying investment opportunities, that is, projects, at the beginning of a project’s life cycle. It has been found that such contribution of an adviser is indispensable for facilitating the familiarization with the public and territorial context and the decision-making context which the project refers to as well as for a proper identification of the problem, possible solutions, definition of pursued project objectives, critical project elements, required funds and for defining appropriate planning of activities which shall be finished.

Screening of opportunities requires a review which is more in-depth compared to the one carried out in the identification phase. The aim of this phase is to remove the doubts about the effectiveness of continuation rather than project preparation, especially if there are alternative opportunities. In such case the management of those projects which are more obviously inappropriate is immediately suspended.

Based on choosing the best alternative or final definition of project idea the project needs a reality check and the possibility of funding (funding by means of our ownership funds or debt funds) has to be defined. Here, funds offered by different EU Tenders obtained in the form of grants are also considered.

The project idea has been developed, funds identified and now the project has to be placed within the framework of tender conditions of direct or shared programmes.
